One Platform for Warehouse Management, Material Flow Control, and Warehouse Automation

LogiCS combines Warehouse Management (WMS), Warehouse Control (WCS) and Material Flow Control (MFC) in a single centralized system. The software manages manual warehouses as well as semi- and highly automated intralogistics and maps a wide variety of warehouse technologies on a single platform. From traditional warehouse management to material flow control of complex conveyor and warehouse technology, all processes merge seamlessly – vendor-independent, scalable, and ideal for new installations, modernization, and retrofits of existing warehouse and material flow systems.

The right software for every stage of your intralogistics development

Manual and semi-automated warehouses

LogiCS digitalizes manual warehouse processes and creates the foundation for future automation. With LogiCS, you bring structure, transparency, and efficiency to your warehouse processes – from goods receipt to shipping. The WMS controls classic forklift-operated warehouses as well as warehouses with very narrow aisle trucks (VNA), automated guided vehicles (AGVs/AMRs), or individual automation components.

This creates a seamless warehouse management system that grows with your requirements.

Automated and complex warehouses

For complex intralogistics systems, LogiCS takes over central warehouse management as well as material flow control. When conveyor technology, shuttle systems, high-bay warehouses, bin warehouses, robotics, picking systems, and AGVs must work together, clear control and full transparency are required.

The vendor-independent architecture enables the integration of a wide variety of warehouse technologies and creates maximum efficiency across all material flows.

Replacement of legacy WMS, WCS, and MFC systems

When legacy software is no longer supported, your warehouse automation does not have to be replaced. LogiCS modernizes the software level and intelligently integrates existing conveyor technology, warehouse technology, and controllers as well as established system landscapes.

In this way, you protect existing investments, ensure long-term maintainability, and create room for new features, expansions, and future modernization steps.

LogiCS is a Warehouse Management System validated by Fraunhofer IML

The validation is based on a comprehensive, standardized catalog of criteria, which is used to document and verify functional scope and performance features independently of the manufacturer. For companies, this creates transparency and trust when selecting a warehouse management system. The validation confirms a structurally documented scope of services – a reliable proof of quality for projects in warehouse automation, retrofit initiatives, and the modernization of existing warehouse and material flow systems. FAQ - The questions that really make the difference in WMS sales

What warehouse size is LogiCS suitable for?

LogiCS is suitable for warehouses of any size – from small manual warehouses to large, heterogeneous, and automated facilities. The solution is fully scalable, flexibly expandable, and can be adapted to different processes, storage areas, and levels of automation. Even when modernizing existing warehouse structures or as part of retrofit projects, LogiCS can be integrated step-by-step: existing storage areas, legacy systems, stacker cranes, conveyor systems, or manual processes can be integrated and developed for the future.

Can LogiCS be expanded or automated later?

Yes. LogiCS is flexibly expandable and can be adapted to new requirements, storage areas, and levels of automation. A manual warehouse can first be digitally controlled and later modernized or automated step-by-step. New storage areas, conveyor systems, stacker cranes, AGVs/AMRs, or other automation components can be integrated into LogiCS without completely rebuilding the existing system landscape. This makes LogiCS suitable not only for current requirements, but also for future modernization, automation, and retrofit projects.

Can LogiCS be used as a WMS, WCS, or MFC?

Yes. Depending on the project requirements, LogiCS can be used as a Warehouse Management System, as a Warehouse Control System or Material Flow Controller, or as an integrated overall solution. LogiCS thus supports warehouse management and inventory control as well as material flow control, system connectivity, and automation – in new systems as well as in established warehouse structures.

Can LogiCS connect existing conveyor systems, stacker cranes, or legacy machinery?

Yes. LogiCS can connect existing conveyor systems, stacker cranes, controllers, and other plant components. This is particularly relevant for retrofit projects, warehouse modernizations, or heterogeneous system structures featuring technology from different manufacturers. This allows existing investments to be utilized further while modern warehouse and material flow processes are implemented.

Can LogiCS be connected to SAP and other ERP systems?

Yes. LogiCS can be integrated with SAP as well as other ERP and IT systems. It supports various interface technologies such as IDoc, RFC, TCP/IP, or project-specific interfaces. The integration is implemented to suit the existing system landscape, processes, and technical requirements—whether for a new warehouse project, a system replacement, or the modernization of existing warehouse processes.

Is LogiCS multi-client capable?

Yes, LogiCS is not only multi-client but also multi-warehouse capable. The multi-client capability does not only refer to distinction at the stock level, but down to individual processes within your logistics.

How long does the implementation of LogiCS take?

The duration of the implementation depends on the scope, complexity, and individual requirements. Smaller projects can often be implemented within a few weeks, while more complex warehouse, automation, or modernization projects require correspondingly more time. We accompany you from planning to interface and process coordination, up to the go-live.

How is LogiCS secured before and after go-live?

Before go-live, we conduct extensive testing of LogiCS—including the use of emulation for automated systems. This allows us to verify processes, interfaces, and control logic early on, before the solution goes live. We continue to support you even after go-live: Our support team assists you during ongoing operations, with questions, customizations, and enhancements to your logistics solution.
